Family Gathering

On Saturday the 11th of April 2015. The Australian Iraqi Muslim Society held a family gathering for the Australian Iraqi community at the Yagoona Sr Citizens Center.

The meeting hall was a full house, with all attendants enjoying themselves, socializing and meeting new people.

There was a talk by Dr Waleed Alkhazrajy who was visiting from Adelaide. Dr Waleed shared his experiences building a young society with team work and perseverance.

AIMS president Dr Abdulrazaq Barazi also gave a talk introducing the society and its goals and mission to the new attendants and inviting all Iraqi Australians to join and contribute to making AIMS a success story.
